Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to the details you share with us, in plain words. The short version: we use them to answer your enquiry and to introduce you to the right brokerage, nothing else.

Who we are

Colombier Yachting is a trading name of Faisal Ahmed LLC, a US limited liability company, run by Faisal Ahmed, an independent yacht introducer. For anything about your information, write to info@faisalahmedllc.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we receive what you enter in the form: your name, email address, the type of enquiry, your message, and the details you choose to give for that enquiry. For a charter or celebration, that can be dates, number of guests, preferred destination and budget range; for buying or selling a yacht, its size, builder and year, budget, timeframe and how you would prefer to sell. We do not ask for the name of a yacht you wish to sell. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.

We do not ask for payment details, and we never handle client funds.

How we use it

• To reply to you and understand what you are looking for.
• To introduce you to an established yacht brokerage that can help. When we make an introduction, we share the details needed for it (your name, contact details and requirements) with that brokerage, so their broker can contact you. From then on, the brokerage handles your information under its own privacy policy.
• To keep a record of introductions, which we need for our own accounts.

We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Services that help run this site

• Formspree receives the enquiry form and emails it to us. It keeps a copy of each submission for a limited time. Formspree's privacy policy
• Netlify hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep them secure. Netlify's privacy policy

Both are based in the United States, so your information is processed there.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts are served from this site, not from a third party. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent where required.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any introduction that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by writing to info@faisalahmedllc.com. We will reply within one month. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
